there is something about medication for hypertension that makes people sicker than before taking. i have reynauds disease and i can keep symptoms at bay nicely …before htn. htn brought a headache i needed to address so i need to take medications which make me have headaches, strong belly cramps the likes of which … dayummm.. and the COUGH from hell. and so many more idiotic issues i didnot endure before these assinine medications meant to lower my bp. and one swells up my feet and ankles, which i never knew before. one gives me funky arrhythmias which i didnt have before taking. so, i am damned if i take em and damned if i donot.
life was so much better before these killer meds i have to ingest. i only want to outlive my gatos. youngest is 2 yrs old. oldest is ..somewhere around 11 yrs. chico is goingto be 8 in dec-jan.

BTW, for bp, I use Losartan…fortunately no big issues. I hope they can find a medication that doesn’t harm…

i just stopped losartan for the side effects i was enduring… and i tried enalopril with more bad results… i am on minipress, so far is better than the others, amlodipine, losartan and enalapril. i can almost pretend to normalcy hahahaha. thankyou for the kind words. today is a tough one. i gave me my best ever resent onmy 58th bday 18 yrs ago– bubba daboatkat. his prweciouslil face at 1025 Aam is burned into my brain. he was so special.

I had tried previously a nalapril and it also made me ill.
You are so fortunate to have had Bubba he was such a wonderful cat.. do you remember the time when Bubba fell overboard and I had a dream with him that same morning at like 5:00 AM? I feel a connection to him … You are so lucky to have him for such a nice long time!
I’m hoping maybe to get up that way during the coming winter…assuming I recover totally from my recent anterior cervical discectomy fusion operation and my cervical myelopathy.

glad you are recovering ok. surgery is difficult. yes bubba was awesome and most unique. and deeply missed by chico and myself. am in a cute lil hlouse now, and boat is permagrounded. dammit. the thefts were horrific and haulout killed me. i really miss my life on water. since 1990 i have been on water. land lifeis most weird. bubu hated house. liked out back but hated indoors. i was hoping he would come around but he died instead.
