my friends here in ensenada have repaired my packing gland problem so it is no longer an issue– seems the entire thing was changed out, stern tube and all, some time in past so i am golden now!!!!!wish i felt that way–i am still incredibly ill…..
found control head for simrad..LOL.. will make a difference for sure……

what happened to squirrel?? was surgery done too young? splain to me n bubba please so we can send our thoughts …
She was only about 6 months old and
a little thing.
When it became obvious she was having problems,
I took her to the vet.
For over $800 they might save Squirrel but forget
the babies.
She has joined way too many other critters in what the kids call the Outback Steakhouse from when we lost some cattle one nasty winter. lol

Sorry to hear about your flu bug. Maybe it will fly the coop and leave you stronger than ever. If you now have one GOOD crew then it should be a breeze to get to MAZ with food and water left over. I am now following you on CF not TS. I guess you can try to help some but not all people. Have heard from Gurlee several times and am trying to follow her repairs in SC. She and her husband have a lot to do, but seem to be making good progress. Her $1000.00 fiberglas chip has been repaired and she tried your method of smoothing the gel coat. Last I heard she was $20.90 into the repair. Please keep me posted on your progress. Best wishes and thoughts to you, the crew and the boat.

With two people doing watches, you guys did PRETTY GOOD!!! Guess all that sitting got a lot of condensation, but you are where it is warm and Boatycat can lay out in the sun and dream of the things cats dream of. While you had trouble with fuel I didn’t hear you say anything about the sailing part. So it must be ok. I think you will be happy with the boat Zee.
