what a little routine maintenance will do as far as keeping things cheep..lol….
fixed air conditioner in 30 mins..not too shabby. runs great now, and is dry.
bubba is happy. he dislikes humid and hot. funny thing about that and his fuurrzzz…he whined and bit me until i fixed it…now he sleeps in best cool breeze in boat….smart cat.
and we can put off the purchase of nother air conditioner for another season or two….

A/C on a sailboat??? It’s winter down there. People go south for warm weather not for air conditioning. Sail a little north, you won’t need to run it. 🙂 I’ve looked at where you are on the map. How warm does it get there during the day?
is still very humid here which makes the heat ind¡ex rise. day time is 85-90 f with 80-100percent humidity. when these named storms quit, humidity will drop and winter will be here. it is not yet winter here.
fixed the a/c unit..repairs almost complete on engine…we will be in winter by thanksgiving, which means day temps will be 80-85f and humidity will be down a shade… i primarily use my ac for dehumidification.
our daily range in summer is 80-95F, with 9 million percent humidity.. in winter it is 72-90F with prolly 70-85 percent humidity. not sure of the exact humidity numbers, but they are ballpark
