seems….

back to our regularly scheduled   topical info and activities.  all is well here with bird  and with   those on board her.  we   may just  visit  la cruz to meet the  man who used to own this bird of a blessed boat before leaving mexico.  is a natural  next stop.   my friends  on board patricia belle, the schooner are there at present,  i have been advised.

hackers

SUCK!!!!!
having had one just take over my accounts, i can say that with justification and sincerity. there are 2 individuals i have in sight as to whom, coul d have been the problem–one being a felame who has stalked and bullied me online since 2008, dec, and the other named bob mclane who was a wannabe crew until his bvragging about smuggling drugs into and out of mexico made me dislike his psycho self so much i had to get rid of his noncompliant self. he didnt know how to understand simple instructions nor follow same. i should have watched bubba’s reaction closer — he didnt like the man and would not come into the house when he was inside m y boat. goooood kitty. now the psychocreep is sitting in yelapa, where he belongs, saying as how i was crazy-0-rofl….. he takes drugs for psych, and i am the nutcase.he also uses massive quantities of illegal substances…LOL. glad that loser is out of my life.
life is sooo goood without any cretins or creeps in it.

waiting…..

for payday–lol— seems battery bank for house went dry between checkings– added distilled water– looking for acid to add– these are batteries i bought in march with 10 yr warantee from costco– ye know–aint a costco store in mazatlan!!! so i will add acid and stretch life, i hope– have solar charger on them as we sit here—praying to battery gods of sea…
the anchorage is filling slightly– a new boat joined us today–is a hans christian traditional. pretty.
our wind speed is spozed to be around 30 km tomorrow– just about right for going to a swap meet.
good thing payday is soon!!!!!! hooyaaahhh!
also– got rid of bad crew– a wanna be who only is able to brag about smuggling and doing drugs– no talents whatsoever that are usable while cruising under sail. is too bad some folks need to become bags of hot air to try to impress others. insecurity is an ugly disease.

wow–last day in marina….

returning to anchoring out– marinas in mazatlan are similar in price to san diego .. so i will not support the high rates as i need to repair boat, not stay put..is nice here but there is still 2/3 of the trip to panama to get done…yes i have only done 1/3 of the trip to panama…we see where boat breaks for next stop…

i will be in the anchorage until i finish repairs on my jib and mizzen and change out a halyard and  hopefully install a racor system and  do some other insignificant yet cant sail without em  repairs….(bottom paint,  thru hull inspection and toilet repair ,,,LOL always fun!)

marine swapmeets!!

so far, while i have been here in mazatlan, i have had opportunity to visit 2 marine swap meets,in which folks dump some of their unwanted items to folks to whom those old items now become treasures–i gained a 65 pound cqr anchor for 50 dollars us, and a stern roller, and a nice screen tarp in green, and, omg!matching solar panels–3 of em!! and a mppt controller for those, and a beeyooooteefulll bronze hawse.cleat for my midships!!! among other items!!! i wish i coulda afforded the fridge bits one fella sells—mexicold–good stuff!!!!–onmy wish list for future investment!!!

checking masts….

now i check my main and mizzen masts for step condition. they are keel stepped onto wood which is on concrete, so condition is in question for the moment– we will loook at them and at the wedges in main mast partners, assess and repair what is able to be fixed in water, and make for waters more south—figure out the locale needed for decent repairs if needed–replace wedges properly–and sail her..i generally use mizzen and jib, as main is HUGE, main boom being about 20 ft give or take a foot or two–long and heavy. is also difficult to douse in seas and weather, so i avoid that by advance prep–not using….
llooking forward to making way again– i donot like stagnation or waiting, and i waited all summer for weather to cool a tad so work can get one–now is time to work, then SAIL!!!!!!

bubba

bubba liked the weather we had this week–he has been a pig and eating–or wanting to — so much–he lost some weight in summer and looked really good—now he has gained some of the weight back for winter–we see how much of his beautiful fur and weight he will really need this winter, as we ready boat for sailing further south.

progress….

working on getting my garmin together and my electrical system repaired… should be done within the month, and i should be able to hand sew my jib clews and reinstall–is roller furling– and fuel and and and then go out of here this winter– has been lovely and i would love to be involved with carnivale and lay a bit , but is getting about half past time to sail……i have lovely awesome friends here in mazatlan and i will miss em-i hope they come sailing with me sometime– would be cool!!
kayaking wont be same without alkoholyak….LOL

arrghh

ok i find out after waiting 12 more days for a package that we may or may not have a problem— as it is impossible to have anything delivered to ye in mexico, my package sent to me from a good friend, solar controllers, has worked its way to the ‘number is unknown’ list. big sigh…..so we search. i hope is found arriving here within a few days…is really flustrating to wait sooo long and have disappearance happen. have been watching it for over a month—–hope it shows up intact…..
